 At Barefoot Beginnings, we believe that every mother, parent and baby deserve access to quality lactation consultant services. We offer a culturally interested, trauma-informed care, and a heart-centered, collaborative approach to best serve our clients and their families.

We believe families of any background deserve to be empowered with accurate information and grace-filled care to further preserve the bond and attachment of parent and baby. We encourage partners and caregivers to support in a variety of ways as they are a valuable part of the parent-baby bond. 

Natalie Rainville is the Founder and CEO of Barefoot Beginnings LLC, and a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist (CBS) preparing to sit for board certification to become an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). IBCLC's are the gold standard of care for lactation and infant feeding.

With 20 years of experience providing parental support, a Bachelors degree in Psychology, masters level coursework in Social Work, work experience in nonprofits, and a cumulative total of 7+ years breastfeeding her 3 babies (along with a host of challenges along the way), Natalie is passionate about helping families navigate the often-challenging journey of breastfeeding/chest-feeding and the postpartum season of life. She gives wholesome, compassionate care to new and seasoned mothers and their babies, and she incorporates a lens of the systemic barriers we're navigating toward a more equitable future.
