While it is in your best interest to have a full consult in order to best get to the root of issues and better serve you, we understand things come up before or between appointments. For this reason, you're always welcome to contact us and we will do our best to assist you by phone or text utilizing a secure platform.

This preventative and proactive visit includes gathering a comprehensive health history, current health status, touch base on how pregnancy is going with the process of lactation in mind, learn your feeding goals, educating on breastfeeding and what to expect postpartum.
We will tailor this visit to your needs, answer questions, and create a plan of care that we will revisit at your follow up postpartum visit. Establishing your care will have you well on your way to meeting your feeding goals!
In this visit, we'll establish your care if we haven't already,or conduct a follow up consult. We'll adjust your care plan where needed, do a flange fitting and pumping consult, and address any other questions or concerns that have come up.
We can also assist with supporting you as you navigate returning to work, pump schedules, educate on when and how to navigate intro to solids, and the various aspects of weaning, no matter your circumstances, whether that is an earlier or extended process.
It is advisable to schedule this visit within the first 3 days postpartum for maximum support and to ensure a smooth start.

For ongoing care, we can assist with investigating potential supply issues, address returning to work concerns, pump schedules, milk storage, donor milk access, and much more.
NOTE: If planning to introduce bottles, we recommend this visit be at least between 3-6 weeks postpartum for best outcomes.

In this visit, we'll discuss the various options for introducing solids and the various aspects of weaning, no matter your circumstances, whether that is an earlier or extended process for you.
We recommend to introduce solids when baby is at least 6 months old in addition to giving human milk if possible (or donor milk, etc.) for up to at least 2 years (Source: World Health Organization & American Academy of Pediatrics).
We also offer extended weaning consults.
